Jayna’s clinical journey began when her first marriage ended in 1998. She first wrestled with the issues of single parenthood, then stepfamily life. She’s learned a lot. She has been therapeutically licensed since 2015 with an MS in Counseling and her Post-Master’s Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy.

She helps individuals, couples, and families build new skills and resilience and deal with conflict, attachment, and trauma. She sees clients in private practice and court-ordered (counseling and parenting facilitation) with a primary focus on stepfamilies, single parent families, and co-parent challenges as well as nuclear families in complex situations. She also works with a non-profit (Children 4 Tomorrow) providing assessments for the family courts.

Jayna and Mike together provide online and in person programs for stepfamily couples and those dealing with co-parenting conflicts. They have been married for 20+ years (in stepfamily life) and have 4 grown children. For more information, please visit https://thebridgeacross.com.
